Community Representative and Chair Recruitment
The Isles of Scilly National Landscape Partnership is seeking applications for two voluntary roles to join the Partnership.
Community Representative Role
In 2025, the Partnership decided to increase the number of Community Representatives from one to two, and as such are seeking to appoint a second representative who is based on the Isles of Scilly. This role seeks to further strengthen the link between the work of the Partnership and local communities. Community input into all of our work is essential and is considered vital for success, and the Community Representative role is one important strand of this.
As the Partnership currently has representation from St Agnes, Tresco, St Martin’s and St Mary’s, we are particularly interested in applicants who live within or have close connections to the Bryher community.
For more information, please see the Role Description and Application Form below. Deadline 09.00, Monday 23rd February 2026.
Chair Role
The current Chair of the Isles of Scilly National Landscape Partnership, Tony Richardson, has served the Partnership since 2022 and will be stepping down from the role in June 2026. As such, the Partnership is beginning the process to identify and recruit a new Independent Chair.
“Since I took on the role in 2022, I have found being Chair of the Isles of Scilly National Landscape Partnership to be a delight - stimulating, sometimes challenging, always rewarding. The National Landscape Partnership is in excellent shape and is just about to launch a new five-year Management Plan. I wish my successor and the Isles of Scilly National Landscape Partnership only the very best, as it continues its stewardship of Scilly, a truly outstanding natural beauty. ”
We are therefore seeking applications from highly-motivated individuals who hold relevant experience working with committees and Partnerships across public, private and voluntary sectors.
